This is a meaningless bill because most if not all jobs have health insurance that goes by federal law. So to have any workers comp claims honored they must prove they don’t allow a “dangerous” work place. And HR’s departments everywhere will hide behind it. No discrimination just them following the law that works best for them.
It’s possible to get around but the employer has to want to. For example my local grocery chain has stores in many states including illegal ones. They don’t test here because it’s not worth it and they can’t keep people.
