CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – A New Bethlehem man is facing charges for the alleged statutory sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.

Court documents indicate the Marienville-primarily based State Police filed the following criminal charges against 21-year-old Jacob Tyler Hook, of New Bethlehem, on Thursday, September 19:

– Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1 (two counts)

According to a criminal complaint, on Tuesday, September three, Trooper Snyder and Corporal Owen, of the Marienville-primarily based State Police, had been dispatched to a residence in Tionesta in regard to a statutory sexual assault investigation.

Interview with 17-year-old Male

About four:00 p.m. on September 10, Trooper Nicewonger spoke to a identified 17-year-old male at the Marienville-primarily based State Police barracks. According to the complaint, the male stated he had been seeing victim two for the final 4 or 5 months, and associated victim two had invited him more than to her pool residence in August.

According to the complaint, the male stated he told victim two he would require to bring somebody with him who was 21 mainly because he couldn’t drive soon after midnight and explained that Hook went with him to the residence and they “hung out” in the pool shed. The male also reported that on the way residence, he and Hook discussed the events of the evening, and Hook admitted that he had sexual intercourse with victim 1.

Interview with Hook

About eight:30 p.m. on August 16, Trooper Nicewonger interviewed Jacob Hook at the Clarion-primarily based State Police barracks.

According to the complaint, Hook stated that the 17-year-old male asked him to take him to his girlfriend’s residence in Leeper, and they went up to the residence “after dark.” He reported that when he met the girls, they talked for a whilst, and each girls told him they had been 13 years old. He also allegedly admitted that each girls consumed alcohol that he brought to the residence.

Hook went on to report that he and the 17-year-old male went back once again the subsequent evening, and the girls once again consumed alcohol that he brought. The complaint notes that Hook explained he and the girls had been intoxicated and noted that 1 of the girls was “coming onto him” and kissing him.

According to the complaint, Hook stated that he told the girl “no,” but she was persistent. He allegedly admitted that he engaged in oral sex with the girl, as nicely as sexual intercourse. The complaint notes that Hook acknowledged that he was told she was only 13 years old the initially time he met her. Hook allegedly stated he “didn’t want to have sex with the girl, but she was persistent, and he just let it occur mainly because he didn’t know what else to do.”

Hook was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Timothy P. Schill at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 19.
