“I wouldn’t be alive. It saved my life, seriously,” he told Patrick Doyle at Rolling Stone. “I wouldn’t have lived 85 years if I’d have kept drinking and smoking like I was when I was 30, 40-years-old.

“I believe that weed kept me from wanting to kill folks,” Nelson continued. “And almost certainly kept a lot of folks from wanting to kill me, as well — out there drunk, operating about.”

Right now, Willie continues to create new songs and tour. He’s also 1 of the most well-known members of the cannabis business, and has a business referred to as Willie’s Reserve. The business, largely managed by his wife Annie D’Angelo, gives THC and CBD merchandise. Most of its cannabis is grown in smaller batches to retain craft good quality.

Final year, actor and activist Woody Harrelson stated Nelson convinced him to attempt a Willie’s Reserve vape cartridge following two years of abstaining from pot.&nbsp

“I was in a celebratory mood and he hands me that pen and I was just snatched and it was like ‘ah, fuck it,'” Harrelson stated. “I take a large draw of it and he says, ‘Welcome residence, son.'”
