Massachusetts offers initial OK for cannabis house delivery to choose licensees

Massachusetts regulators signed off on preliminary plans for recreational marijuana house delivery, but the system would limit participation in the 1st two years to applicants that match below the state’s social equity and financial empowerment provisions.

The Massachusetts Cannabis Manage Commission voted four-1 to give initial approval to the policy, which could start later this year just after regulations are adopted and a final vote taken, The Boston Globe reported.

The social equity and financial empowerment provisions are made to enable tiny MJ entrepreneurs from places of the state that had been disproportionately impacted by previous enforcement of cannabis laws.
